OCTOBER NEWSHi everyone! Hope you are enjoying all of the great live blues that's been going on in Quincy lately. If you haven't been to the new The Blue Onion Blues Bar yet, you really should check it out. Also, thanks to The Club Tavern for all the blues they've been hosting.
The blues society has two events coming up. Here are the details:
Saturday, October 22nd - Annual Elections and MMWBS Birthday Party
The meeting will start at 7pm at the Blue Onion and the party (band TBA) will start at 8pm. MMMWBS members will be admitted free to this event with their membership card. If you need more info, please contact Bob Bick at 224-7256.
Tuesday, October 25th - Support the Troops Fundraiser
In partnership with the Quincy Military Support Group, we'll be raising funds to mail Christmas packages overseas to those serving in the military. The event will take place from 7 to 11pm at the Blue Onion with Sugar Ray and the Knockouts. Tickets will be a 5 dollar donation, but additional monetary donations are welcome.
