Spring Society News
As of the Society Meeting on Thursday April 15th, there's been a change in Officers. According to the Annual Board Elections in Oct. 03, the following was agreed upon. Mark Hancock was desiring to become the new President of the Society, but wasn't able until after April 1st-due to work commitments. So, the following arrangement was struck. Jerry Davis would fill-in as Pres. until the April Mtg, Julie Long would fill-in as the Treasurer until April. At the April Meeting Jerry would hand over the Presidency to Mark Hancock, who would hold the office until the next Elections, and Jerry Davis would shift over to become the Treasurer for the remainder of the year.
Also, there *might* still be an opening left to enter the Tri-States Blues Challenge on May 2nd. Any band interested needs to contact booking@quincyblues.com ASAP to confirm.
